Menicon Announce the Release of the Rose K2 NC Lens Design

Menicon is pleased to announce that the Rose K2 NC lens will be officially launched at the BCLA in Manchester.
The Rose K2 NC is specifically designed for all stages of the nipple cone, and features a very small aspheric BOZD which decreases as the base curve steepens. It also incorporates a very rapid peripheral flattening outside the back optic zone and front surface aberration optics providing outstanding vision. The fitting process is very simple as it adopts the same 5-step systematic approach as with all previous Rose K2 designs.
A recent international trial carried out over 3 months with the Rose K2 NC design by 13 expert irregular cornea fitters from different countries, gave outstanding results with 86% of cases being fitted successfully with the first lens ordered, 60% reporting better vision than with their previous GP lens, and all fitters indicating that they would use this design when it became commercially available.
